School Year 24-25 , we want to keep our families informed about the new Healthy School Meals for All program (Proposition FF) that was passed in Colorado in November 2022. 

What does the passing of Amendment FF "Healthy School Meals for All Public Schools Students" mean for Canon City Schools?

  • Starting this school year, ALL students at ALL schools will have access to school meals at no cost.
  • Breakfast and lunch will be offered at all schools except Mountain View Core Knowledge where lunch will be offered.
  • We will not be offering seconds or ala carte at any of our schools.
    • With the launch of Colorado’s Healthy Free Meals for All (HFMA) program, school districts will be required to collect economic data from families.  The completion of the Family Economic Data Survey (Available July 1, 2024) has been added to our annual registration process.  To the best of our knowledge, and in order to protect the long-term sustainability of HFMA, we appreciate you taking the time to complete one survey per household.

No Charge for students 18 years and younger.
Adults just $4.00
All meals must be eaten on site
